I am trying to copy slides from one presentation to another, and want the slides that I'm pasting in to take the characteristics of the destination presentation - particularly picking up the footer, fonts. I've changed themes, tried all sorts but cannot get this to work. Two example presentations are attached "Source" and "Destination" , if anyone can advise me how to get this to work I'd really appreciate it.
If you've ever had to manually combine the contents of separate PowerPoint presentations by typing or copying and pasting slide elements, you know it can be a tedious and unpleasant process. There is a much better way to combine PowerPoint slides, however.
You can add one or more slides to your presentation from another, without having to open the other file. By default, a copied slide inherits the design of the slide you're inserting it after in the destination presentation. However, you can choose to keep the formatting of the slide you're copying instead.
